Schaller Locking 6-In-Line Guitar Machines

Smooth 16:1 gear ratio, with a rear thumbscrew to lock the string. Single pin mount keeps tuner from rotating, no mounting screws needed.

• 16:1 ratio
• 10mm (13/32") diameter pegholes required
• Removable metal knobs
• Set of 6

Staggered string posts:
The Schaller Locking 6-in-line tuners feature staggered string post holes. The tuners with the holes higher above the face of the peghead are used on the E, A, and D strings, and the shorter hole posts are for the G, B, and E strings. This allows the strings to have a steeper angle off the nut than with traditional tuners — eliminating the need for string trees.

Great tuners - some drilling may be required.

I bought these for a 2013 Fender Standard Tele (MiM). I hoped it would just be a few turns of a socket wrench and done. No such luck. The stock Fender tuners have two posts to anchor them; the Schaller has one. So, you need to drill a hole for each. It's not a big deal - just keep in mind that it's not a 5-minute swap. But once they're in, you can change strings in a fraction of the time - no string-winder required. Sweet!

These tuners is the real deal. I've replaced all Fender original tuners with those. Couldn't be happier!
