Conductive Copper Tape

Get rid of buzz and interference in your guitar.
Shield pickups and control cavities with this self-adhesive copper tape.

180" rolls for shielding pickups and control cavities to reduce hum, noise and radio interference. The self-adhesive backing is also conductive, so overlapped seams are electrically continuous. Wrap this tape around pickup coils for additional shielding.

Sold individually or SAVE when you buy the set of all three widths.

Conductive Copper Tape surface accepts solder.

It's the best

This is the best shielding tape hands down. The conductive backing is extremely helpful, eliminating the need to solder every joint for continuity.

I've used this stuff for shielding guitar cavities, pickups coils, and back panels of amps. Works great!

Cuts and forms easy. Good conductivity and does exactly what it is suppose to do. I did both the cavity and the pick guard. Really made a difference.

Copper Tape on a Jazz Bass project

By
(Customer's Reviews)

I've heard that the more convenient conductive paint may require many coats of paint -- one luthier even noted they do a hybrid thing: copper tape and the paint. So I decided to try the tape, since it seemed a more robust treatment. If you are careful and can use a scissors, this stuff is GREAT! Easy to use, and the adhesive is good. No soldering. Relatively fast too. I used it on my 5-string fretted Warmoth jazz bass project. Thanks StewMac!

Takes a lot of noise out of the guitar. Would def. recommend it to anyone either making a guitar from scratch or fixin up an older guitar.

Definitely necessary.

I purchased this tape to stop my friends Fender bass from humming. Very simple to use, a little tough to start the roll at first, and then the end you've cut to doesn't stay that well. This is a positive though because if you use too much it's easily removed, but it won't ever simply fall off. It also will not simply unravel so that little bit hanging is fine. It did the job I wanted well.

good shielding job without spraying

By
(Customer's Reviews)

I've been modifying guitar's and bass's electronics for 5 years and this tape helps to do the shielding job without spraying on any imaginable guitar. It's inexpensive and reliable. But keep your fingers protected because it has really sharp edges.

first time shielding a guitar. this was easy and convenient. it was nice to not have to solder each piece of tape together. just make sure there is a bit of overlap between each piece..checks out great with no resistance.
