Conductive Copper Tape

About This Item

Get rid of buzz and interference in your guitar.
Shield pickups and control cavities with this self-adhesive copper tape.

180" rolls for shielding pickups and control cavities to reduce hum, noise and radio interference. The self-adhesive backing is also conductive, so overlapped seams are electrically continuous. Wrap this tape around pickup coils for additional shielding.

Sold individually or SAVE when you buy the set of all three widths.

Conductive Copper Tape surface accepts solder.

This conductive copper tape on the backside of the pickguard along with conductive paint in the cavities will make your single coils virtually noise free. Great product have some in the shop at all times.

Great stuff for lining electronic chambers in electric guitars....consistently under 1 ohm!

Great Noise Canceller

By

I bought this for my 2010 P-bass. Noisy as can be (C'mon Fender, get it together. This is the second Fender that was almost unplayable due to hum and buzz). I didn't give up on this one and decided to shield the electronics and p-up cavities. BAM! Now essentially noiseless. A LITTLE but remains at super high volume, but this tape works magic. If you own a Fender, odds are it isn't shielded. 2 hours work and you will fall in love with your bass all over again! Highly recommended!

GREAT STUFF!

I had an annoying 60Hz hum in one of my Blues Junior amps mounted in a Mojotone pine cab. I lined the inside back panel and inside the top and sides of the cab with this stuff. The amp is now quiet as a church mouse. I just ordered two more rolls for my guitars (I have several, yes, I have G.A.S.). This tape is GREAT STUFF! And, as always, StewMac's service was top notch...my order was received in two days.

Copper Tape

A little harder to work with than conductive paint, but it just plain works better. When checking continuity, the tape always has it...not so much with the paint. Cheers.

I put this on my pickguard (a 1989 American Standard Tele, completely unshielded), and used conductive paint in the body cavity. What a difference!

RF Protection

It worked very well, applying half it's width to the top edge of the body cavities and with it's conductive adhesive making good electrical contact with the brush on conductive paint. Using a DVM, I now have a perfect zero ohms connection to all a Strats body cavities. Even covering the underside of the pickguard plate, there was even some tape leftover (3/4" roll).

Great to work with, made Jazz bass silent.

Bought to shield an American special Jazz bass. Had the single coil hum. Tape is very easy to work with and the conductive adhesive works very well. My bass is now silent. Was able to do my Jazz and a friends Telecaster, with enough left over to do another guitar. (2 inch roll). Will buy again.
