Conductive Copper Tape

About This Item

Get rid of buzz and interference in your guitar.
Shield pickups and control cavities with this self-adhesive copper tape.

180" rolls for shielding pickups and control cavities to reduce hum, noise and radio interference. The self-adhesive backing is also conductive, so overlapped seams are electrically continuous. Wrap this tape around pickup coils for additional shielding.

Sold individually or SAVE when you buy the set of all three widths.

Conductive Copper Tape surface accepts solder.

Conductive Copper Tape

I have a '61 SG reissue that I am having Bareknuckle PUPS put into it. My luthier recommended that I isolate the electronics with copper tape. I am pleased with StewMac with their quick shipping! I ordered on a Wednesday and had it sitting by my doorstep the very next day! Thanks.

Works great much easier than copper foil that you have to solder for continuity.

Easy shielding

This stuff is a breeze to work with because there's no solder joints between pieces. The edges can be razor sharp so just be aware of it while working it into the cavity.

I tried several pedals and found one that worked but still got the annoying buzz when I played at church and my hands were not on the strings. Fender strat with vintage noiseless pickups. I ordered the 3\4 " copper tape and taped up the cavities. I've used the guitar 4 times without any pedals, straight to the amp and there is zero buzz/noise. Awesome product, easy to use!!!

Very good stuff, it helps quiet hums, noise, and static. may not solve it all check solderjoints, and pots. but for me I used it, on new noiseless PU on a strat, WOW awesome. Joyful easy playing clear tones. If your body does not have sheilding use this!

This product completely eliminated all my strat static, and worked just as advertised for a price that was even lower than most retail stores. Stewart-McDonald knows exactly what they're talking about. Look forward to doing business with them in the future.

I put this inside my P-bass to reduce the noise from our digital IEMs we use on stage.

Installation took some patience but was well worth it. No noise even when I moved the bass right next to my rack in my home studio.

Next project will be my Jazz bass with passive pickups as I have plenty of tape remaining on the spool.
