Conductive Copper Tape

About This Item

Get rid of buzz and interference in your guitar.
Shield pickups and control cavities with this self-adhesive copper tape.

180" rolls for shielding pickups and control cavities to reduce hum, noise and radio interference. The self-adhesive backing is also conductive, so overlapped seams are electrically continuous. Wrap this tape around pickup coils for additional shielding.

Sold individually or SAVE when you buy the set of all three widths.

Conductive Copper Tape surface accepts solder.

I had an annoying 60Hz hum in one of my Blues Junior amps mounted in a Mojotone pine cab. I lined the inside back panel and inside the top and sides of the cab with this stuff. The amp is now quiet as a church mouse. I just ordered two more rolls for my guitars (I have several, yes, I have G.A.S.). This tape is GREAT STUFF! And, as always, StewMac's service was top order was received in two days.

Copper Tape

A little harder to work with than conductive paint, but it just plain works better. When checking continuity, the tape always has it...not so much with the paint. Cheers.

This stuff works.

I put this on my pickguard (a 1989 American Standard Tele, completely unshielded), and used conductive paint in the body cavity. What a difference!
