Product Details

Undersaddle transducer, preamp jack, and soundhole controls. The heart of the Matrix Infinity system is Fishman's popular Acoustic Matrix undersaddle transducer.

It senses the vibration of the entire bridge saddle, for a smooth balanced sound. The dynamic range and frequency response are far beyond standard undersaddle pickups.

This widely used system includes an active self-contained endpin jack/preamp, plus convenient soundhole-mounted tone and volume controls. Switchable voicing adapts the system to a variety of guitar body sizes and performance situations.

The Acoustic Matrix undersaddle transducer is designed for string spacings up to 2-1/2" (63.5mm).

The soundhole–mounted tone and volume controls give easy fingertip access, and include a convenient LED battery light. The unique tone control cuts the mids while boosting the treble and bass. Solderless connections help make installation easy.

9–volt battery required.

I have fitted quite a lot of these pickups in recent years & find they sound great & are a good option for customers that don't like to have a hole cut in to the side of their guitars .

Installation was super easy, and after a little troubleshooting (Note to self: wiring it backwards makes it hum), works well. The sound is amazing. My only complaint is the weak velcro (sticky-back) for the battery bag. Even following instructions, the bag came loose. Not a huge deal though.

I've installed a few of these and it has always been a smooth-process installing and the tone is very-natural. I have not been disappointed.

I always suggest this model to anyone looking to add a pickup.

I am so impressed with this pickup system, I have installed it in all my guitars, (taylor Martin Fylde & Furch).

Good product but not easy to get consistent levels across the bridge.

Great acoustic sound reproduction. I've used Fishman products on all types of acoustic instruments. For the price, no one is better.

Great sound.

I've used the Matrix Infinity pick up in a number of my guitars, both carbon fibre round backs, and all wood bodied, and the responce is great with all of them. Three guitars are used for recording, and one for jazz concerts and I've only had good comments from the musicians.

Great tone

I've fitted these to two of my own guitars and got compliments from hardened sound engineers about both of them. The signal is strong and balanced and true to the instrument's tone. They also seem to have minimal effect on the unplugged sound, especially if a simple battery clip is used rather than the bag supplied.
