Switchcraft Output Jack

The industry standard for output jacks, and we've got them for mono and stereo applications.

These Switchcraft™ jacks accept standard 1/4" plugs. A mono jack is suitable for most guitars; a stereo jack can be used for stereo wiring, or to enable onboard active electronics when a 1/4" mono plug is inserted.

Choose the long thread jack for guitars and basses that have a thick top or control plate. The extra threads give the nut a bit more to bite on. Great for older Gibsons like the SG and EB bass.

  • Required mounting hole diameter: 3/8" (9.53mm)
  • Thread: 3/8 x 32
  • Thread height: 1/4" (6.35mm)
  • Long thread height: 3/8" (9.53mm)

Mounting nut and flat washer included.

This output jack is as basic as it gets. Not fancy, not expensive, it just does the job extremely well.

Switchcraft Output Jack

Not an easy fix on an ES-335 type Epiphone DOT so I stick with Switchcraft! After all the work replacing the jack in this Semi-Hollow Body I won't have to worry if it works or not!

Solid Jacks - Nothing to Go Wrong here.

By

Switchcraft are solid, well-made, pretty much industry-standard jacks. The springs are strong and hold well over time. The jacks themselves deserve five stars, I only gave four because the price here is on the high side, IMO.

The jack to buy

By

This jacks are firmer, stronger and more realiable than any other. The thread adapts well to electrosocket (telecaster aftermarket ferrule) and when mounted, impart a respectable look. They're easy to goldplate and apply other finishes too.
There is no reason to look for another brand or type, except if you need to have a jack+strap pin or some speciality feature.
