Switchcraft Output Jack

About This Item

The industry standard for output jacks, and we've got them for mono and stereo applications.

These Switchcraft™ jacks accept standard 1/4" plugs. A mono jack is suitable for most guitars; a stereo jack can be used for stereo wiring, or to enable onboard active electronics when a 1/4" mono plug is inserted.

Choose the long thread jack for guitars and basses that have a thick top or control plate. The extra threads give the nut a bit more to bite on. Great for older Gibsons like the SG and EB bass.

  • Required mounting hole diameter: 3/8" (9.53mm)
  • Thread: 3/8 x 32
  • Thread height: 1/4" (6.35mm)
  • Long thread height: 3/8" (9.53mm)

Mounting nut and flat washer included.

The only Jacks to Use

By

Verified Buyer

I have been using Switchcraft Jacks for about 50 years. I've seen all the other brands,
and had to replace 99 % of them. Either the diameter of the jack hole is too big, and
your plug wiggles and fall out, or crackles. Or the tip contact is so weak it doesn't even hold the plug in! Mono, or stereo, these are the ones to use ! All the best manufacturers use these!

So far so great

Installed easily as expected. Components feel well made, and the instrument cable has a nice solid click to it when inserted. I expect it to perform just as well as other switchcraft parts I've used in the past.

Replacing a stock jack, especially in an import guitar is the best and cheapest upgrade you can do for a few bucks. Switchcraft jacks are sturdy and well made.

Solid input jack

Very solid requires real work to push cable jack in so no way its slipping out. Really solid better than OEM jacks.
