Switchcraft Output Jack

The industry standard for output jacks, and we've got them for mono and stereo applications.

These Switchcraft™ jacks accept standard 1/4" plugs. A mono jack is suitable for most guitars; a stereo jack can be used for stereo wiring, or to enable onboard active electronics when a 1/4" mono plug is inserted.

Choose the long thread jack for guitars and basses that have a thick top or control plate. The extra threads give the nut a bit more to bite on. Great for older Gibsons like the SG and EB bass.

  • Required mounting hole diameter: 3/8" (9.53mm)
  • Thread: 3/8 x 32
  • Thread height: 1/4" (6.35mm)
  • Long thread height: 3/8" (9.53mm)

Mounting nut and flat washer included.

Switchcraft 1/4" Jack

By

Switchcraft jacks will not fail under normal use. I have some that are well used for 45 years. They are the best in the business.

The industry standard on good instruments

Just about any good quality American made axe from the fifies right on up is a candidate for one of these when it's time to replace that worn out jack. And to my eye, these jacks look just like the old Switchcraft jacks in just about every 60s guitar I've worked on. These jacks are made heavier than the ones you'll see in instruments made overseas.

Best EVER!

I used them to replace the original guitar's mono model (fender/gibson)... bridge ring and sleeve for solid ground connection.

I've used these sockets on several guitars. They're good. Won't use anything else.

Fits standard 1/4" thread. The materials and workmanship are superior.

Great output jack, guitar lead plug slides in much better than stock Telecaster unit, and has a better spring arm design.

The best

This is an often overlooked component when building, re-building or upgrading a guitar or bass. I use stereo jacks in everything I do and I dont do much work on stereo instruments. The extra spring contact point holds the jack tip tighter than a mono jack for a few cents more. Great contact without crackle or noise. Tough spring contact points won't bend out of shape over time. Great product.
