Similar in density to African Blackwood, Cocobolo is a hard tonewood that displays a range of colors from yellow, orange, and red, to shades of brown.
Cocobolo is being used more and more as an alternative to traditional rosewoods. Many builders say it adds a bassier tone to a new neck.
Suitable for scales up to 32" (813mm)
They're rough-sawn for use on guitars, but long enough for short-scale bass and baritone guitars, too. A lot of wood at a really good price!
