Many guitars have been successfully built using these complete full-scale plans from the library of the online Official Luthiers Forum. Designed and drawn by Michael Payne, each set of four 48" x 36" plans includes specifications for a bolt-on neck, 25.4" scale, optional X back bracing, and optional body cutaway. Classy guitar

These plans are very well drawn and adequately detailed. They provide options such as ladder or spider back bracing and cutaway. I have built a number of these and have had very favourable comments regarding the elegant style, playing comfort and, surround sound. I have used the cutaway option and spider back bracing on all of mine. Oh, and don't forget The Luthiers Handbook to assist with getting the best tone from the guitar. The braces are drawn oversize so you will need to shape and tune them to your preference.
