Cutting Lubricant

What can I say? you need this stuff if you are using any kind of files and or cutting materials. Makes a smooth cut, prevents chatter and prolongs the life of your tools

I decided to try this lubricant with my fret saw and Stew Mac finger board slotting mitre. Using this was unbelievable, it made the saw cut so much faster. I think it reduced my time in half or more slotting a 20 fret finger board.

Did what it was supposed to and let me cut mother-of-pearl inlay with no chatter.

I didn't know what to expect with this product, but when used with my crowning files it allowed for cleaner, quicker cuts with no chatter. I should have ordered this sooner - very pleased.

Seemed to make my fret file plug up quickly? Good cut though.

Have trouble with your nut file binding when cutting deeper slots (so you don't have to regrind the nut all the time to establish correct string heights), coat your file's cutting edge with this and your file won't ever bind. Best of all unlike oil you won't get oil all over your customer's guitar. It speeds up nutmaking by a LOT.

I've used this on several cutting tools, including a hacksaw. Works as advertised.

Don't get me wrong, this stuff lubricates nearly as well as expensive drawing compound used for precision tube bending; like for aviation grade hydraulic and pneumatic systems. It is so good in fact that saw blades will not cut with it on. I haven't tried it on drill bits or files, and plan not to....why would you? It certainly keeps you tools sharper for longer...like for ever and ever. What this stuff does do really well is lubricate any moviing metal parts where you don't want any friction...unlike a saw blade. Works great on firearms.

When I cut my nuts Procut helps the file slide through like a hot knife through butter. This gives me a smoother cut and less wear on my tools. Great to avoid scratching frets when using a file. This stuff works, you can get by without it but it makes cutting/filing so smooth.
