Banjo Rim Rod Set

The dual rim rod set are a perfect match with the 5 star banjo pot. Installation was easy and straight forward.

Received the rim rod set, along with other parts needed for a tenor banjo. The only complaint I would have about them are the neck attachment screws which seem quite flimsy.

Flawless finish. Works perfectly with 3/4" thick rim. Needs a spacer (1/4")if using with 5/8" pot.

The single rim rod looks great quality when you lift it out of the packet. It has a beefy tailpiece bracket that doesn't bend under string tension,all good or so i thought until i fitted it to a 1/2" rim and found that i didn't have enough thread to get the retaining nut and tailpiece bracket on. Ah well i can use them on a 3/4" rim someday.

I like the fret wire very much and the Rim rod set and hardware are excellent.

Much easier for me to use than the style with the long nut on the bottom rod.

This rim rod set is more expensive than the Chinese imports, but the quality makes the price well worth it! It deserves the 5-star rating!

Quality and nickel plating of the single rim rod set and I suspect the double rod set(never purchased one of those-bluegrassers do seem to like hotrodding)are superb. One improvement I would like to see is a better bracket for the mounting of the tailpiece. It almost resembles something you might find in a blister pack at your local hardware store. Something resembling the cast L bracket or the dowel stick end bolt might look more appealing.
