I actually have one in each color for my '92 Strat, and switch between them every 3-6 months for variation.
very cheap pickguard - holes did not match existing (off slightly; others drilled differently) - and a softer material than the original.
I got a little nervous when it said Made in Korea on the back, but it fit my 79 Strat quite good, almost perfect. It is a bit narrow around the bridge and it felt a hair big along the edge of the body. But it was cheap :)
Made in Korea! For this kind of price expected better deeper looking pattern and quality
Fit perfect looks great.
Looks greate on my white strat type guiter. Solid material.
I purchased a mint green one. The screw holes have different locations when compared to a fender pickguard, so you will have to drill new holes in your guitar body, not acceptable for me. Not recommended.
I recently acquired a Fender American standard strat with a white pickguard....I ordered the white pearloid guard from STEWMAC....it is a perfect fit, excellent quality guard that really sets off the beauty of the guitar....I highly recommend STEWMAC for any of your guitar needs!
Looks of quality build but two areas make this product just another badly fitted guard that you'd find online. The volume knob (standard Strat setup) is wedged against the bridge pickup mounting screw head so it no longer operates smoothly. The guard is cut slightly too large and becomes wedged between the neck heel and bridge so the tremolo gets impeded like a tennis ball under a gas pedal.
i had to trim it down from the neck because it was so tight, it was pursing up from my american strat. then the screw holes in the pickguard didn't match up and i had to screw a hole in the guitar because they had a hole in the pickguard which was NOWHERE NEAR any other hole. i spent an extra hour making this work. hugely disappointed in stew mac. first time buying from them, will be the last.
