Wow!

I ordered a bunch of these to use to hold a pickguard on to a guitar body. And boy do they do the job! Installation couldn't be easier - simply push them into the hole and turn them using a screwdriver. They disappear into the wood until only the head is showing. And once you've done all of them, that pickguard isn't going anywhere.

No more holding your pickguard on with your picking hand while playing, or embarrassment when you drop it at a gig - take all the effort out of it with these fantastic screws!

screws are screws, these are great

I used to be not so picky on the screws...as long as they all matched. I probably felt this way because few other companies care enough about such small details. These exceeded my expectations. The finish is strong, they bite well and don't wander. They are very consistent from one screw to the next. A great, high quality detail.

These screws were the ticket!

My son is a player whose sweat is so acidic that the hardware on his guitars corrodes. I got the stainless steel Fender pickguard screws and problem solved.

Makes me wonder why we don't see more stainless bridge parts...

Screwy...

As someone who has looked at A LOT of screws over the last three months, take my word for it - there IS a difference. These are quality screws. Local hardware stores usually only have flat or round heads (and rarely come in small enough sizes), and you can see a huge difference if you try to use those instead of the typical oval headed screws seen on most guitars. Only advice I would give is use the right size screw-drivers for these - can make a big difference on how easily the heads get damaged.

These are my pickguard screws of choice

Nice, tarnish-resistance and not too shiny - and the heads are just the right size. Screws are a small detail, but small details add up to enhance the whole instrument.

Does the job.

Not a bad little screw in itself. I ordered the chrome and they work great.
